Week's Events to Grant Wish

by Keely Quinn

On April 2-6 Arapahoe High School will host their sixth annual Wish Week. Student Council hopes to raise enough money to grant Caley, a 7-year-old girl with osteogenesis imperfecta, or brittle bone disease, her wish for a hot tub. "I think it's neat that AHS helps kids by doing Wish Week," junior Alex Hall said.

On April 3, the CU Buffoons, an all male a cappella band, will perform in the auditorium at 7 p.m.

Bobblehead Buddha, a band of Arapahoe students, will perform in the cafeteria at 7 p.m. on April 4.

On April 5, the seniors will take on the staff in a basketball game in the gym at 7 p.m. The game is a classic event in which all students cheer on the seniors and watch their teachers try to succeed.

Tickets for all events are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Colored stars will be sold during both school lunches for $1 for the entire week.

All money collected will help grant Caley's wish.
